Riot Games recently changed how naming works. Instead of server-specific Summoner Names, everyone now has a global Riot ID:
- Log in to your account at account.riotgames.com.
- Navigate to the Riot ID section.
- Change your Game Name (the part people see) and your Tagline (the hidden # part).
- Click Save. You can change your Riot ID for free once every 90 days.
