A CoD clan tag is the 2-5 character identifier that appears before your username. It's the most visible way to represent your team in the lobby and kill feed.
For a coordinated squad, start with a tag everyone can recognize: VEX for a sharp sound, ECHO for a tactical feel, or BONK for a joke. The Custom option accepts up to five characters. Brackets add extra characters to the copied result, so keep the plain tag handy if your game rejects the decoration.
