Acceptance depends on the game and its name field. Activision’s account registration specifies display names without special characters, so keep an ordinary-letter version for your Activision ID. The decorator does not validate game rules.
A game can reject a Unicode character or display it as a box even when your browser shows it correctly. Remove the decoration or replace the styled letter with an ordinary letter, then try again.
Copy the decorated nickname, go to your CoD profile settings, and paste it into the name field. Make sure it meets the character limit.
